DRIVER
Delivery and transport operations — route management, GPS mileage tracking, customer delivery signatures, and offline-capable mobile interface.
The Driver role covers transport and delivery operations: moving equipment between sites, delivering parts to job sites, and collecting customer signatures for delivery confirmation. Like the Technician, the Driver interface is mobile-first and fully offline-capable — built for the realities of long-haul routes and remote sites.
Drivers have access to their own GPS position and delivery routes. They cannot see other drivers' positions, financial data, or work orders not assigned to them. Their odometer and route data feed directly into the Community Odometer register (Jour 07).
Driver Interface
Ordered list of assigned deliveries with addresses, client names, and contents
2D navigation view with the delivery sequence optimized for minimum travel time
Customer signature pad + delivered items checklist + GPS verification at delivery point
Automatic odometer capture — start and end of each delivery leg
GPS-stamped punch in/out. Offline queue for remote areas.
Direct channel to Dispatcher for route changes and urgent communications
Delivery Confirmation Flow
Delivery confirmation replaces paper delivery notes and manual tracking. The Driver completes the confirmation on their mobile device — the customer signs on screen — and the record is sealed in the secure document vault.
Driver arrives at delivery location — GPS coordinates captured
Delivered items checklist confirmed (with quantity verification)
Customer signs on the Driver's mobile device screen
Signature sealed with GPS coordinates and millisecond timestamp
Delivery record linked to the originating work order or quote
Automated confirmation email sent to the client
Dispatcher sees delivery confirmed in real time on the 3D Map
GPS Tracking & Community Odometer
The Driver's GPS position is tracked continuously during active deliveries. Position updates are transmitted to the Dispatcher's 3D Social Map every 500ms when connected. Each km driven is added to the organization's Community Odometer — the immutable collective fleet register.
Drivers can view their own position history — routes driven, distance logged, and delivery confirmations. They cannot see other drivers' positions or the full fleet map.
